Set out on one of the most beautiful routes in Bohemian Switzerland—the loop trail around the Jetřichovice lookout points. The path begins in the village of Jetřichovice and guides you through a magical landscape of sandstone rocks and deep forests, offering magnificent, sweeping views of the surrounding countryside.
The first stop is Mary’s Rock (Mariina vyhlídka), a wooden gazebo perched on a rocky summit, offering a panoramic view of Jetřichovice and the surrounding cliffs. Next is Wilhelmina’s Wall (Vilemínina stěna), named after Princess Kinská, from where you can spot the ruins of Falkenštejn Castle as well as the entire Jetřichovice Walls. To wrap up the journey, Rudolf’s Stone (Rudolfův kámen) awaits you, featuring an exciting climb up rock-cut stairs and a breathtaking view of the Elbe Sandstone Landscape.
The loop trail is approximately 8 kilometers long, moderately challenging, and ideal for a full-day trip. The reward for a few steeper climbs will be views that are undisputedly among the most beautiful in the entire region.
